The Dartless Torso To Hip Sloper
The Dartless Torso To Hip Sloper
The Dartless Torso To Hip Sloper, also known as the Basic Bodice Block, is a must-have tool for your pattern cutting toolbox. It serves as a fundamental starting point for a wide variety of sewing patterns and can be used to create stretch garments like tankinis, dresses, and more. What differentiates this tool from the Dartless Torso Sloper is the sloper extends from the waist to the hip. There are two additional measurement inputs for this tool that provides unlimited possibilities.
With the MiSlope drafting tools, you can create custom digital blocks/slopers that are tailored to your unique measurements. Unlike standard sloper sets with predetermined sizes, the MiSlope tools allow you to input your measurements to generate precise made-to-measure sewing patterns and slopers. This ensures that your finished garment fits perfectly and looks professional, no matter your skill level.
The MiSlope drafting tools allow you to create precise made-to-measure digital blocks/slopers with the input of your measurements.
This is not a standard sloper/block set with set sizes, the sewing sloper pattern generated is customized based on your measurement inputs.
***After you purchase your sloper, you can access your tool in the MiSlope Drafting Library. NOTE: You must create your account using the same email used for purchase.

What Is A Sloper?
What is a Sloper?
A Sloper is produced from the measurements taken directly from the body and is a two dimensional representation of the three dimensional body. The Sloper is considered the “Master Pattern”, as it includes ease but does not include seam allowance nor design lines. Pattern designers will draft one Sloper and create an infinite amount of designs from that one Sloper. It would take far more time if pattern designers drafted each of their designs from raw measurements.
Sewing patterns are derived from the Sloper by way of adding design lines, cutting away parts of the sloper (Imagine an ice sculpture being cut from a giant block of ice) and adding seam allowance. The Sloper is the most important foundation to a final design, if the Sloper is not cut precisely, any designs stemming from the Sloper will have fit issues.
